C-Net integrates safety business processes into your SAP Business Suite.
Despite its high profile within most businesses, safety is frequently managed with paper based systems or through IT solutions that operate in isolation to your core SAP Business systems.
SafetySuite challenges that paradigm by providing a comprehensive suite of safety processes that are fully integrated into your SAP landscape, allowing you to embed safety into the everyday activities of your extended workforce of employees and contractors.
Common SAP Landscape
As can be seen in the diagram below, SafetySuite will be loaded into your proposed SAP ECC solution via a set of SAP transports. There it becomes an extension of your SAP HCM solution.
Your employee base can then immediately utilise the functionality by extending the SAP security roles in place. For any external contractors, the SAP Gateway will enable access to the solutions and control all security issues that arise from public facing usage.
Range of front-end deployment types
Depending upon the maturity of your SAP systems, our solutions can be rolled out via Fiori services from your mobile devices, Web Dynpro or even SAPGUI.
SafetySuite was originally designed by SAP Australia, so the integration points into other SAP functions are native to the application. Your SafetySuite solution integrates into a range of SAP ERP business data such as Enterprise Asset Management, Time Management, Payroll, Finance and Accounts Payable, Document Management and so forth.
No risk of exposing data
With a SafetySuite solution your data is safe – there is no need to extract or interface data to systems outside of your IT Managers control. Corporate and IT processes currently in place to protect data are maintained and used for these safety related processes as well. No need to concern yourself over interface protocols, encryption standards, security of vendor data centres and so forth.
System Maintenance performed by your SAP Netweaver team.
Supporting a SafetySuite solution becomes just another scheduled task for your SAP support team. Support packs are loaded in the normal manner into the SAP system at quarterly intervals or as required.
